This luxury waterfront home nestled on the shore of the picturesque Brisbane Water showcases all that is beautiful about stone and timber.

The distinctive and individually designed, French patterned front door is a continuation of the custom entry gate and opens to a dramatic foyer with high ceilings and a timber staircase flowing to an open-plan living room which is centred around a personalized timber entertainment unit and stunning quartz limestone fireplace that sparkles in the sunlight. From the minute you walk in the front door you can soak up the water views. The owners obviously wanted to take advantage of the views and wanted to bring the outside into the living space.

So, with the help of Northrop Engineers, we designed a thirteen and a half metre long sliding door to the rear (facing the water) to take in the uninterrupted water views. This allowed us to open the whole room up to the outdoor balcony and entertaining space which then steps down to a perfectly manicured lawn and gardens that continues to the water’s edge.

So, whether you are lying on the grass in the backyard or making breakfast, standing at the kitchen bench, this house was designed to maximise those beautiful water views in every way possible.

High ceilings and clerestory glazing allows the sun to stream in and fill the living area with natural light. In addition to the impressive living and dining area, this home includes three bedrooms, a home theatre and a study featuring custom-built timber shelving and cupboards.
