WAMBERAL MIXED USE
This mixed use development is comprised of two residential units alongside a café/restaurant which sit over a basement carpark with storage facilities. Residential units have been designed to flow from inside to out, with generous balconies to capture the nearby beach views and just be able to sit and watch the world by. Being alongside a cafe the common residential foyer acts as a visual and acoustic barrier between the commercial and residential spaces. Materials are kept consistent across both parts to create a singular and cohesive build with subtle cues used to define public vs private space without dependence on signage. The cafe features an extensive alfresco area with an operable roof for all weather conditions, whilst internally a commercial grade kitchen allows for food prep in a modern environment that visually connects to with the cafe dining floor allowing both spaces to feel bigger and create visual interest for the patrons.
