BELLEVUE RENOVATION

Commissioned as a simple upgrade to the original 70’s dwelling this design kept the vast majority of the lower and upper floors and walls however a new roof was added with existing glazing replaced or altered to make the most of the stunning views of Terrigal town and beaches. The multi-pitched roof form creates a dramatic interior space which incorporates operable highlight glazing allowing beautiful natural light when desired but also allows ventilation of heat during the warmer months. A spine connects the front entry terrace to the living and then to the rear balcony off which the sleeping and ancillary quarters plug into, allowing for a clear and unbroken living quarters but the opportunity to retreat when desired.
