There is no greater reward than to create a shelter tailored to suit a family with personal association and connections and find they just fit into it so naturally. The clients are long-time friends and business associates.

The brief developed quite naturally over a few sessions of brainstorming and culminated in a single sentence: create a space to come home to and feel as though on holiday. A place where the family could relax, entertain, swim, read, play, eat and have the feeling of being on holiday when at home.

From all reports it has lived up to all this and more. This Erina Heights Architect designed home received a Commendation from the Australian Institute of Architects.
