The client of this house in Wamberal had a dream to convert their simple home into their very own Balinese resort. To fulfil the brief we used natural materials combining timber, stone and glass to create an organic feel to the home.

The vast open plan living room is flooded with natural light and features spotted gum timber flooring and a classic white kitchen designed for entertaining. The kitchen is undoubtedly the focal point of the living area with its stone waterfall island bench, pendant lights, flat panel cabinetry and triple ovens

Floor-to-ceiling glass connect the living spaces and the master bedroom to the entertainer’s paradise alfresco area including a custom-designed inground pool with a spa and a luxurious outdoor dining and entertaining area all of which are drenched in natural light thanks to the desirable north-facing aspect.

The house incorporates two zones separated by the entry. The children’s zone incorporates three bedrooms, a bathroom and a multipurpose TV and playroom. The parent’s zone is located at the other end of home. The master bedroom includes a walk-in wardrobe, an ensuite with freestanding tub and sliding doors to access the outdoor terrace.
